Our approach

We draw on our expertise and experience in the field of energy assessment to produce accurate EPCs for a wide variety industrial, commercial and retail buildings for clients such as developers, portfolio owners and consultants. We have a growing network of qualified energy surveyors and assessors and who carry out building inspections and data capture, working all the time to agreed standards of safety and ethics.

Collected data is passed to our team of modellers who generate energy models using the Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) software produced by BRE. The energy model is then carefully audited against the input data and then used by the software as the basis for the creation of the EPC. The EPC is then lodged on the central database and a copy delivered to the client.

The end-to-end process, from client enquiry to EPC delivery is managed by our EP Manager workflow system which tracks and controls each stage of work. EP Manager has been specially developed for L’atelier with the accent on the security of data. All data is stored electronically on in-house computers which are backed up to remote servers to give the highest levels of data security.
